Roots of Faith: Our Church History

The Reformed Ever-Christian Church was founded on November 16th, 2009, at
Ankpa, Kogi State, Nigeria, by a group of visionary leaders, under the leadership
of Rev. Moses Abdul Omachi (as the first General Superintendent) and Rev.
Isaiah Ochigbo (as the first General Secretary), who were driven by a passion to
establish a church that would uphold the principles of Christianity and provide a
safe haven for believers to worship and grow in their faith. The church was born
out of a desire to reform and redeem the Christian community from unchristian
practices, injustice, maladministration, carnality, and incorrigibility that had
become rampant in some churches.
